The Sustainable Business Council is a new non-profit organization founded by a group of sustainable business executives. We serve Los Angeles regional businesses and individuals working with sustainable products, services and processes. Sustainable businesses take full account of the environmental consequences of economic activity and use resources that are renewable, replaceable, non-depletionary or regenerative. By so doing, these businesses reduce waste, improve efficiencies, and increase employee productivity, all of which decrease operating costs and increase margins - and the positive impact the businesses have on their communities.
We provide events and educational opportunities which encourage, support and expand sustainable practices. Our goal is to establish Los Angeles as a leader in this emerging business sector.
